Job description:
On Cape Remediation Services is seeking a dedicated, hardworking Remediation Technician / Remediation Managerto join our growing team. This role supports hands-on remediation work while also assisting with job oversight, customer communication, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and motivated to grow into a leadership role. Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Remediation & Field Work

Safely remove insulation, sanitize, HEPA vacuum, and clean affected areas.

Perform junk removal services, including sorting, loading, and proper disposal of materials.

Assist with small demolition projects, including dismantling structures and removing debris.

Operate dump trailers, vacuums, and other remediation equipment.

Inspect work areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and free of hazardous materials post-remediation.

Operate hand and power tools while following all safety protocols.

Work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions as required.

Project & Team Support (Manager Responsibilities)

Assist with overseeing job sites and ensuring work is completed to company standards.

Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and tenants regarding scope of work and job progress.

Help coordinate daily job schedules, materials, and equipment.

Support documentation, photos, and reporting for remediation projects.

Identify upsell opportunities or additional services when appropriate and communicate them to management.

Customer & Sales Support

Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after remediation projects.

Answer client questions and explain services clearly and professionally.

Sales experience is a plus, including identifying client needs, assisting with estimates, or supporting follow-up communication.

Qualifications
-
Prior experience in insulation removal, remediation, junk removal, demolition, construction, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Experience in sales, customer service, or project management is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Willingness to work in confined spaces and various weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
-
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and leadership potential.
-
OSHA-10 and OSHA Confined Space Certification (can be completed after hire).
